As we continue to highlight members of the Heart & Hand community, we are pleased to introduce board member Isiah Salazar. How do you connect to Heart & Hand's mission? Being a Denver native and growing up on the North side of Denver, it was important to me to spend more time on the East side and learn about its residents and students. Over the years my family has worked hard to help students achieve various educational goals. Heart & Hand is committed to celebrating the beauty, diversity and strengths of our community. We are proud to introduce Amy Bryant, Program Leader at Columbine Elementary. What is your favorite part of working at Heart & Hand? My favorite part of working with Heart and Hand is the relationships I build with the children in our program. It's an honor to bear witness to their growth, resilience, and watching them have new experiences. What do you like to do in your free time? I don't get a lot of free time in between going to school for my social work degree and running 2 businesses.
